At Jimmy’s, we are so lucky to be well supported by our community, who donate goods, money and time, champion our work and raise awareness of homelessness. This support is crucial to our success. From Jimmy’s foundation in 1995 to today, we are so proud to be part of the Cambridge community. There are many ways in which you can support us:
Fundraise for us
Our community supporters run a range of fundraising events every year in support of Jimmy’s. For ideas on where to get started, download our fundraising guide, or get in touch if you have an ambitious or creative idea! When fundraising, you can use our Justgiving pages to pay so the money comes directly to us.
Community organisations
Is your school, place of worship or community group keen to support Jimmy’s? If you make a donation, we can provide resources for your group, a talk at an event, and opportunities to get involved. Contact us now to find out more or download our community fundraising pack.
Provide goods
When our residents need specific items, we add these to our Amazon wish list. Ordering from this list means that items are delivered straight to Jimmy’s and can start being used! If you’d like to donate specific goods, please contact us to discuss the donation. We also make appeals for items on our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram channels, so do follow us to keep up to date with what we need!
Community Supporters
Jimmy's is fortunate to have so many community supports: from individuals fundraising to organisations donating money and goods, one of the organisations that regular supports Jimmy's is Morrisons in Cambourne. Their donation of food ensures our residents at East Road are well fed and frees up funding for other critical support.
