Vicki joined Jimmy’s as a volunteer on reception at the East Road site in 2019, as well as gardening at some of the newly established modular houses.
She had worked in the NHS as a nurse, midwife and health visitor before moving to the regional Clinical Genetics Unit, based at Addenbrooke’s, where she most recently worked as the Consultant Lead in Genetic Counselling. She has lived in Cambridge for 35 years and enjoys walking, reading, tending her chickens and allotment. She feels honoured to be joining the Jimmy’s Trustees in 2023, to help tackle homelessness and its effects.
