On Tuesday 9th May 2023, Jimmy’s Chief Executive Mark Allan, and resident Eamonn Kelly, were delighted to attend the Buckingham Palace Garden Party.
They both had a wonderful day, and Eamonn was honoured to shake Prince William’s hand!!!
Speaking to Eamonn about the day he said;
“It was a privilege to represent Jimmy’s and the Big Issue all in one day, someone who has come from the bottom of the pile to the top”.
Mark added,
“It is a great recognition for Jimmy’s to be invited to such an event, and I was really pleased I could go with one of our residents who could also experience this once in a lifetime opportunity too. There was a really positive atmosphere, lovely tea and cakes, and the forecast downpour of rain didn’t happen!”
An incredible experience which won’t be forgotten.
